The eyepiece lens construction comprises 7 elements in 3 groups, while the objective lens construction comprises 4 elements 3 groups. The Ultralow-dispersion (UD) glass elements eliminate or minimize the chromatic and spherical aberration rendering high-contrast distortion-free images and accurate color tone. Further, the binoculars weigh only 2.6 lb and are highly compact with a 7.6" length that makes them highly travel-friendly.
The Porro-Prism optical path, doublet field-flatteners, Super Spectra Antireflection Coating together render bright, high-contrast imagery and minimize distortions. Further, the lenses are made from eco-friendly lead-free glasses. These binoculars allow a 15x magnification with 15 mm eye relief, enhancing the viewing experience for extended watching sessions.
The Binoculars require AA batteries as their power source; however, they can function as regular binocular with batteries uninstalled. This is an added advantage for beginners and cost-conscious users. In addition, the neatly positioned center focus wheel allows comfortable clicking using the right forefinger.
