SRG-X400 1080p comes with 40x optical zoom and is remote-controlled. These features make it perfect for large venues such as auditoriums, lecture halls, stadiums, etc. Along with zoom, you also get pan and tilt features. It's a remotely-operated compact camera making it sound even in small places not ideal for manual operations.
Our Take on the Sony SRG-X400 1080p PTZ Camera :
The camera's performance is driven by a 1/2.5" Exmor R sensor, enabling high visibility in even low-light conditions. In fact, the camera comes with a low light sensitivity of 1.6 lux. On top of that, the camera features a 4.4-88.0mm lens that maximum 70-degree field of view. These features result in enhanced image capture.
The camera offers Full HD videos at 1080i or 1080p at a maximum of 59.94fps. With this PTZz camera, you can achieve 340° panning and 110° tilting with up to 300° and 126° per second, respectively. You can place it on a desk or mount it on the ceiling to get the exact angle you desire. The mounting brackets are included in the package. When mounted upside-down to a ceiling, you can use the camera's Image Flip option to simplify the setup.
The camera is compatible with AI-based REA-C1000 Edge Analytics Appliance. This helps in smoothly tracking the subject's movements and also generating a cut-out image of the speaker automatically. With the Picture Freeze Preset, you get a steady image even when the camera moves. The transition is so smooth that you wouldn't even notice it.
